mEET THE 2025-2026 sTAFF

Lindsay johnson

Senior Lindsay Johnson is the Editor-In-Chief for the 2025-2026 school year. Outside of Room 204, she is a founding officer of both Stanton’s Family Promise Club and Women in Stem Club. Lindsay practices taekwondo, tap dances, and runs for Stanton’s cross country and track teams outside of school. She also enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time with her friends in her free time. Lindsay loves math, which she wants to pursue in her future career.

Erica Truong

Senior Erica Truong is the Managing Editor for the 2025-2026 school year. Beyond the paper, she likes to travel and try new food with friends. She hopes to pursue a career in engineering and make a difference in the world.

Emily Zickuhr

Senior Emily Zickuhr is the Layout and Design Editor for the 2025-2026 school year. Outside of her work on the paper, she enjoys running on the cross country and track teams, reading books, and watching the latest tv shows. She is currently still deciding on which of her career aspirations to follow, but hopes to continue journalism in college.

Arvind mukund

Senior Arvind Mukund is the Digital Media Editor for the 2024-2025 school year. Outside of digital media, he enjoys digital art, cooking, and spending time with his friends in and out of school. His hobbies include practicing a classical Indian instrument, photography, videography, and video editing. He hopes to end up at Georgia Tech or the University of Florida for mechanical engineering and applied mathematics.

Jade Bateman

Senior Jade Bateman is the Business Manager for the 2025-2026 school year. Outside of the paper, she loves to bake and read, with a nice matcha in hand. She hopes to pursue a career in dermatology and eventually have her own business.

Garrett Lawrence

Senior Garrett Lawrence is the Photography Editor for the 2025-2026 school year. Apart from the paper, he enjoys taking photos, sprinting for Stanton’s track team, working out at the gym, and leading the Geography Club. He would like to pursue a career in law and continue photography in the future.

OScar Stone

Senior Oscar Stone is the Associate Digital Media Editor of the Devil’s Advocate for the 2025-2026 school year. Other than editing digital stories and recording videos and podcasts for the newspaper, he enjoys swimming, playing lacrosse and reading. One of his strengths is English, and he hopes to pursue a career in law.

Gabrielle dosdos

Junior Gabrielle Dosdos is the Features Section Editor for the 2025-2026 school year. Beyond designing pages for the paper or editing staff writers’ stories, Gabrielle likes to go thrifting, go to various cafes, and listen to music. She hopes to pursue a career in healthcare.

Junior Ashley Wang is the Arts and Entertainment Section Editor of Devil’s Advocate for the 2025-2026 school year. Outside of the newspaper, she enjoys spending time with friends, going out to eat, and creating art. She hopes to study applied physics or engineering in college and pursue a career in STEM.

Senior Elle Wight is the Sports Section Editor for the 2025-2026 school year. In her free time, she loves spending time outside, especially at the beach, mountain biking, traveling, and hanging out with friends and family. She has been on Stanton’s varsity Cross Country and Track teams for the past four years and has a passion for running. She hopes to pursue a health-related career and make a difference in the world.

Junior Ramkumar Sridhar is the Opinions Section Editor for the 2025-2026 school year. Outside of school, Ramkumar enjoys trying different foods, watching movies, and hanging out with friends. He hopes to pursue a career in the medical field.

Camille knight

Junior Camille Knight is a Staff Photographer for the 2025-2026 school year. When she’s not designing pages or taking photos, she loves to draw, listen to music, and play video games. She’s wanted to go to NYU for Law since middle school, and she hopes to become a criminal prosecutor in the future.

Senior Heba Akhdar is the Associate Business Manager for the 2025-2026 school year. Outside of her position in the paper, she enjoys spending quality time with loved ones, swimming, and watching foreign shows. She hopes to pursue a career in dermatology in the future and is also interested in studying foreign languages.

Sriya vemuri

Senior Sriya Vemuri is the Digital Design Editor for the 2025-2026 school year. Apart from the newspaper, she enjoys watching movies, going to the beach, reading, and learning new instruments. She hopes to pursue a career in the medical field.

Kamari Jackson

Junior Kamari Jackson is the marketing assistant for the Devil's Advocate. Outside of her journalism work, Kamari enjoys watching movies, spending time with her friends, and cherishing moments with her family. She is also the president of Sigma Chi Elite. Currently, she aspires to pursue a career in the medical field, but she remains open to changing directions in the future

Songyi Pang

Sophomore Songyi Pang is a Staff Writer for the 2025-2026 school year. Apart from Devil’s Advocate, she loves to bake, draw, listen to music, and make clay figures. She also enjoys watching C-dramas and has a soft spot for cats, hoping to adopt one of her own. She looks forward to exploring her various passions and seeing where they lead her.

Sophomore Noela Abeshi is a Staff Writer for the 2025-26 school year. Outside the newspaper, she enjoys reading, watching movies, baking, painting landscapes, and spending time with her friends. She also enjoys traveling and wishes to explore the world. She aspires to pursue a career in medicine where she hopes to help as many people as she can.

Leilana Cercado

Sophomore Leilana Cercado is a Staff Writer for the 2025-2026 school year. Apart from the newspaper, she likes to play sports, listen to music, go to the beach with friends and read.  Leilana is currently on the Stanton College Preparatory School cheerleading team and will be playing flag football in spring. Currently, she aspires to be an occupational therapist in the future, but is also open to being in the educational field.

He spends his time participating at Model UN conferences, trading stocks, and competing at science fairs. In the future, he aims to work in a STEM-related field and hopes to make a long-lasting impact through his works.
