A view of Castillo de San Marcos, built between 1672 and 1695, considered the oldest masonry fort in the United States. 

Flagler College, established in 1968 to teach liberal arts, was initially a hotel called Hotel Ponce de León, founded in 1888 by Henry Flagler. 

Lightner Museum of Hobbies in St. Augustine, established in 1943 and later reopened in 1948, houses a unique collection dedicated to handicrafts and collecting.
